School Days (Covid Style)

Kenny started 1st grade at Lakeaires Elementary on September 14th. The school year was delayed as the district was preparing for hybrid learning due to covid. Kenny now attends 2 days a week and does home school the other days. It is a challenge for all to say the least. He has been a trooper dealing with it all so far.

Masks are required at all times in school buildings. These poor kids are adapting to this, but it must be quite annoying.

And little Odie started his new preschool at Redeemer Lutheran Church the same day. He is adjusting just swell. There are only 6 little 2-3 years olds in his class.

Here is a look at Kenny at work on a home school day. We have live zoom meeting with the class and watch videos for the other lessons.

We especially love watching Jack Hartman videos about the letters of the alphabet. This man is a treasure.

And finally, here is Kenny in his "Joe Biden" sunglasses. Let's do this! Make America Nice, Sane, and Smart Again!!!

I love these pictures. The boys are getting so big! How wonderful that Odie has a nice small class and is liking it.

Nice printing, Kenny!!

We watch Jack Hartmann's times table songs almost every day and constantly remark what a national treasure he is! So that made me laugh to see him pop up here. :) I guess he is the family's new Bob Ross, of a sort.
