Monterey and Dave's NPS Graduation

I may stop writing a narrative intro to these blog posts, as I realize that anyone reading this was probably actually there. So, without further ado, here are my photos from last week's trip to Monterey to visit the Johanson-Williams clan. (Grannie Annie if you are reading this - we missed you there!)

 The icing on the cake of this trip was a visit from big city ladies Shannon and Chelsea.

 We went on a mermaid boat ride in the harbor.

Britta, I can't stop laughing at how that picture makes you look really big when in reality you are not! It must be some crazy optical illusion. I wish I'd been standing there, because my recessed position makes me look almost unfathomably short (though the pic w/ Nora proves that I am).
