Crashed Ice


Yesterday morning we left Monterey at 5am, traveled all day, and returned to our home in Saint Paul by evening to find 80,000 people swarming the street in front of our house! Red Bull was hosting their "crashed ice" event, where crazy dudes race down hills on ice skates. Here is a video of some local mascots doing the course for fun. They were scared! Pretty surreal to go from sunny Monterey to this in the span of 12 hours or so. Looks like a pretty fun scene, though.
