Chad's Golf Tournament and Blood Drive

This past Saturday there was a golf tournament and blood drive in Chad's honor. Eric started the day off at 8am giving blood:

Rachel too. They got almost 50 pints in the drive.

Eric's cousins Cole and Shane came from St. Cloud and Iowa, respectively, to golf with us.



Matchy, matchy. We got matching T-shirts for the golf tournament, and Eric gave me one of his work hats so I could try to minimize the sun exposure to my nose. We were twins!

The next day it was Lydia's 10th birthday. She got a lot of colored duct tape and nail polish. I guess that is all the rage with the 10 year old girl crowd this year.


And this is unrelated, but I thought this was a cute picture of a common sight at my house on these summer evenings. I call Luna a daddy's girl because she loves Eric so much.

I like the picture of Luna sleeping on Eric! She is such a pretty cat. Stella prefers Dave too, but I think it's 'cause he stays in one place more and isn't all twitchy and restless like me.

The "twins" picture of you guys is cute, too. You are both holding mysterious objects. A....scrubbing sponge and a tax form? A baguette and a jury summons?
