Old Saint Paul

I had to do a little research in the library of congress image archives and I found these two cool things of saint paul in the days of yore:

Aerial Perspective drawing of downtown Saint Paul from 1893. Isn't it amazing how little has changed?

And 259 Dayton Avenue in the 1880's. This is the blue house where I lived on the top floor with that awesome deck looking at the Cathedral. It too has changed little in 130 years.

Very cool historical perspective, Brit. I really enjoy stuff like this.

That's really neat. Looks like the "castle" was next door back then, too.

I can't believe it really hasn't changed! I'd forgotten how old that place really was. Remember when Nora and I came to visit you and we got locked out, and the kooky landlord came riding up on her motorcycle?
