The Past Month
Hey all, you probably won't see this as I imagine everyone has given up on this blog by now. (I don't blame you) But I am back in Texas now and I have decided to give it another go this semester. To start out here are some of (the very few) pics I took while visiting on winter break. I apologize for the poor quality of the photos. I only had my crappy camera with me. Which seems to get crappier every day...
Watson is a fat and happy cat at the Dunes now. I couldn't resist taking her portrait.
This is where she spends most of her time. Just keeping an eye on things.
The little monkey, Violet. I must say she is extremely good-natured, and is a wonderfully pleasant little person to have around.
She gets cuter every day too.
Kim's little baby Croix. Also a sweetheart. Only 5 weeks older than his cousin Vi.
I couldn't resist one of my favorite photo subjects: suburbia in winter. Here it is: Hugo in all its evening glory.
Miss Nora in Belleville. This is the only still shot I got of her. We had lots of fun playing in the snow in the practically sub-zero temperatures.
American Gothic: Minnesota/Belleville style.
Uncle E with his three lovely neices:* (from left) Lydia, Alex, and Ava. *I apologize for my excessive use of colons in this text. I don't even know if I am using them correctly. They just seem to fit. (this message is for all you English majors out there, you know who you are)

You use colons just fine, but seem to forget the periods within/after your parentheses. I understand that this is a stylistic choice, in keeping with the casual mode of blogging, and that you actually DO know how to use parentheses, but elect to simply have your way with the written English language. The English language is not your slut! It makes the right side of my face twitch, but I'm dealing with it. I'm so glad your blog is back....and Lambchop too!
