Chelsea and I have been building a 3/4 scale model of the sculpture garden at the Phoenix Art Museum. And for this purpose we have been casting miniature benches and stairs out of concrete. Its pretty fun.
And we are pretty proud.
Here my Ecology working group has a meeting of the minds (and laptops): Ingrid, Julie, Sara, and Chelsea.
Last Friday was our final review. I snuck a quick pic of the jury sitting in judgement of Roni (in yellow).
After the review the class went out to dinner at Polvo's. Great Tex-Mex. Erika and Shannon, above.
Roni, Kira, and Melissa. Kira was our young, cute, and capable studio teacher. She will be sorely missed as she has left us for an artist retreat in New Hampshire, and then to return to practicing LA in New York City at Balmori and Associates.
