Emmie Lou

After 13 years my sweet little Emmie Lou has gone across "the rainbow bridge." Sorry you had to go it alone this time mom. I wish I could have been there with you. Here are some pics of that spunky girl the last time I saw her, a month ago.



We'll miss you Emily! And never will I look upon a red kong again, without thinking of your happy little face.

How sweet. I love that last picture. Emily led a better life than most dogs do -- sunshine, snow to play in, comfy beds, home-cooked meals, tons of treats, leaping off the dock, riding in the car, co-habiting with cats and fat Goldens, property patrol, back-of-the-couch surveillance, midnight rendezvous(es) in the yard, Candyland popcorn, being scratched behind the ears until the point of drowsiness, and lots and lots of Kong.

What a sweet tribute. These are wonderful photos of our Emmie, Britta. I was hoping you would post something about her. I love Andria's description of her life - it sums it up very nicely.
