Pot Luck II: the execution

We had our little MLA pot luck this evening, and it went great! Everyone thought the snicker bar salad was suspicious at first, but delicious at last. Here are some of the amazing contributions from everyone in class:
clockwise from top center: Gazpacho from Spain, Persian rice dish, jalapeno cornbread from San Antonio, my snicker bar salad, fresh picked texas hot peppers, potato pie from Spain and sweet potato casserole from Ohio, Persian lamb kebobs, fish chowder from Maine.
Shannon's fiance Ian grilling the Persian kebobs, with Noel (from the Phillipines)
Lizard hangin' out at the party
And for some after dinner entertainment we all played foursquare!

I am so jealous! Awesome food and four square - one of the best games ever invented!

Hey, nice choice of the Snicker Bar salad. Looks like y'all had a good time. That Spanish food looked especially good.

I would have camped out at the bowl of Snicker Bar Salad and never left.

I can't wait for Nora to try her first scoop. It is the sort of dish she would invent in her sugar-coated little-girl dreams.
