"Pinning-Up"

Today was a big day for us small fry here in the MLA program. We had "pinning-up" and a review. This just means that we go into a white room, and pin all of our essential work from the previous week on the walls. Then a couple professors come in and tell us what sucks about it for three hours. 

This is what I pinned-up. On the left you'll see simple 2d studies. They progress into the 3d cardboard "sketches" in the middle. And then a final cardboard plan, as well as a plan and section drawing on the right. Sorry, its hard to see anything in the drawing. I'll show you another time.
