My New Neighborhood

I got up early this morning to get some photos of the building before the sun started blazing. This is the kind of place where the only sane thing to do around midday is sleep or go to the pool. 

Here is the corner of W 45th St and Avenue D. As you can see, its really quite green and lush here. The neighborhood is super cute. I think it will be pretty cozy to live here. 

One of the perks to this place is the little pool in back. So far we have been the only people in it or near it. But that's ok, we have it all to ourselves!

Front view: pretty ugly. But I guess its your standard 70's architecture. 

I just had to show you why my heart sank when we first arrived and I saw my apartment. My window doesn't even really get any light! However, I am realizing that it may be a blessing in this heat. I've already grown to like it.
