Barton Springs Pool

We had a field trip to a landscape architecture firm this morning. And then some of us in the class went for a swim at the historic Barton Springs Pool. They say this is where Robert Redford learned to swim. It is a natural spring, dammed up into a huge, rock bottom swimming pool. It is totally awesome! Another reason to come to Austin ASAP!

Where Robert Redford learned to swim, eh?  I picture him being like 65, in floaties, dog-paddling.

Very cool place, indeed.  I can't show Nora, or she'll want to go tomorrow.
